On Tales of Vampires album, Brotherhood of Pagans have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is what good Metal should be.
Don’t Fall is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Guilty is really the reason why I recommend buying Tales of Vampires. Halloween is a bit of a show-tune. Resurrection - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Brotherhood of Pagans must have run out of lyrics on the next track Rooms. Sinner Comes To Bits - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. In The Gathering you won’t find any flashy solos. Warshow is simply amazing.
