Bobby Matos was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Bobby Matos and Chango’s Dance together. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Bobby Matos has. This is one of the best Cd’s Bobby Matos has dropped to date. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Bobby Matos ever.
Chucho one is one of the better boring ones. If you are a Bobby Matos fan, you will love Columbia Interlude. Highway One is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Musically El Nuyorican is superior to other tracks in Chango’s Dance. Checkere Interlude is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Bobby Matos offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Bata Interlude is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. So What/Impressions is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Mozambique Interlude is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Chango’s Dance. Da Me Tu Amor - This is a very lively song. When listening to Chango’s Dance, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. La Charanga is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Yeza Interlude is the album’s biggest hit, I think. My Diamonds-Madrigal is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Bobby Matos breathes new life into the music in Conga Conversation. Manteca is a good listen every once in a while.
