This is one of the best Cd’s Bob James and Hilary James has dropped to date. Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Bob James and Hilary James’s new album to that on ‘Flesh and Blood’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. On Flesh and Blood album, Bob James and Hilary James have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
I listened to the opening track Storm Warning and liked it a lot. Once you hear Just Like My Lover, you will listen to it over and over. After The Fall I just LOVE this mix! I loved Somebody Make Me Laugh the first time I heard it. Oasis is possibly the best song Bob James and Hilary James has come up. I’ve found myself listening to Baby Plays Around back to back and back many times. Up Into The Silence The Green is the excellent blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Flesh and Blood is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. It’s such an underrated song.
