There is so much to love about Bob James and Earl Klugh, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. While no new Bob James and Earl Klugh album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1992 tour in Australia. Cool carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is what good Instrumental should be.
I came to like As It Happens. Song So Much In Common is actually a funny song. Bob James and Earl Klugh breathes new life into the music in Figitive Life. The Night That Love Came Back - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Such hits like Secret Wishes will leave you hooked. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Voice of Bob James and Earl Klugh in Handara is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. The Sponge is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Terpsichore is a cool song and it grows on you. San Diego Stomp is the more seemingly obscure song on Cool that bear up best to repeated listening. I can’t stop playing Miniature.
