This album has some very good songs like We All Fall Down and Itchycoo Park. On Nothin’ But Trouble album, Blue Murder have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is the first studio album from Blue Murder since bad diagnosis in 1993. If you love Blue Murder as much as I do, then Blue Murder Nothin’ But Trouble is the CD for you!
Strong, powerful vocals of Blue Murder in Itchycoo Park are very impressive. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Runaway - another great track from the Nothin’ But Trouble album. Dance - To me, this is the best song on the Nothin’ But Trouble. I’m On Fire - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Blue Murder. Blew our minds when we first heard Save My Love. I like to sing along with Love Child, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Shouldn’t Have Let You Go is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Blue Murder is one of artists that allow his songs like I Need An Angel to stand on their own and be heard. She Knows is Blue Murder’s best work in years. I was truly moved when I heard Bonus.
