It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Blind Guardian energies, virtually a rebirth. I am not a real Metal music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Tokyo Tales’ really is amazing. ‘Tokyo Tales’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Great Metal right here!
Lost In The Twilight Hall is probably the highlight of the album. Valhalla is the albums biggest surprise. Excellent vocals and musical performances. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Majesty motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. The Quest For Tanelorn is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Goodbye My Friend is simple, dignified and effective, Blind Guardian refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Journey Through The Dark is a very catchy tune. Traveler In Time is absolutely incredible. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Tokyo Tales is Banish From Sanctuary. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive.
