Rude Gangsters isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Blechreiz energies, virtually a rebirth. Rude Gangsters carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
She’s Got A New Tattoo defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Gunfight Hero is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Rude Gangsters have ended. I love the melodic melody of Polly and to this day it makes me feel good. Answering Machine is a gorgeous sing-along. In Life Is Odd full palet of sound is used by Blechreiz to accentuate the presentation. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Album opener Macandeo (Giggi The Whore) is a bright, upbeat ditty. Simple and heartfelt closing track Beer For The Boys closes Rude Gangsters on a high note. Blechreiz sings his heart out in Domina. Out Tonight!! have really caught my ear and imagination. Iwan (Rudy - A Message To You) is a bit of a show-tune.
