three years ago, Black Sabbath briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Get A Grip”. IF YOU LIKE ALL Black Sabbath’S SONG GO FOR IT! Now signed to Black Sabbath’s Blue Note Records, the title track from second album “Forbidden” leads Black Sabbath’s back-to-school campaign. If I may, I suggest “Illusion Of Power”. That one song is amazing!
Get A Grip is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Can’t Get Close Enough is probably the highlight of the album. Shaking Off The Chains (4:04) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! I’ve found myself listening to I Won’t Cry For You back to back and back many times. Guilty As Hell is astounding song though, very addictive. Sick And Tired is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Black Sabbath offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. All of songs on Forbidden and have something to say letting alone Forbidden. I like to sing along with Kiss Of Death, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Lyrics of Loser Gets It All are precise and evocative.
