Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Black Box on ‘Rockin’ To The Music’. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Black Box. Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, Black Box comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Such great and happy songs.
Not Anyone defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Be What You Want - For me, this is the best of the album. Some call So Long from Positive Vibration as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. A great put together song. A Positive Vibration is Black Box’s best work in years. The Beat Of Your Heart is pretty funky and mellow. Black Box breathes new life into the music in Don’t Give In. What Is Love - I like this one. I was truly moved when I heard So Long (Reprise). Song Rockin’ To The Music (Gemolotto One Remix) is actually a funny song. Not Anyone (Chicco Secci Miami By Night (Part 1)) is the albums biggest surprise. In Not Anyone (Chicco Secci Miami By Night (Part 2)) you won’t find any flashy solos.
