Now signed to Black Box’s Columbia Records, the title track from second album “Mixed Up ‘92″ leads Black Box’s back-to-school campaign. ‘Mixed Up ‘92′ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is the first studio album from Black Box since bad diagnosis in 1992. If you want to hear real Dance, get this record now!
Music in Strike It Up (Sensitive Mix) is perfect as in all tracks of Mixed Up ‘92. Don’t judge Fantasy (Big Band Remix) on the first listening. Get Down (Afro Mix) which is my favorite is a truly Black Box sounding song. A unique and uplifting song. Megamix is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Strike It Up (Original Mix) is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Open Your Eyes (Valerio’s Mix) is a bit of a show-tune. Birght On Time (Single Mix) defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Get Mixed Up ‘92 and turn on Everybody, Everybody (Club Mix) if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Uk-Megamix is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Ride On Time (Piano Mix) is the song that really did it for me.
