Back In Your Own Back Yard is the more seemingly obscure song on Let Me Sing and I’m Happy that bear up best to repeated listening. You Made Me Love You makes a person feel marvelous. Waitin’ For The Robert E Lee (1:08) a good melody. Kate (2:04) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. After you’ve listened to The Best Things In Life Are Free, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Lazy catches attention immediately, The New Ashmolean Marching Society & Students’ Conservatory Band is so unique, as each one of the songs is. I like The Anniversary Song because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Bing Crosby has astounded me with this amazing track. April Showers was the first single release from the album Let Me Sing and I’m Happy. Lyrics of Ma Blushin’ Rosie are precise and evocative. If you are a Bing Crosby fan, you will love You’re Wonderful. The One I Love Belongs To Somebody Else is another favourite of mine. Avalon is a cool sing-along. That Lucky Old Sun motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Toot, Toot, Tootsie is exquisite and different song. Although All By Myself is very melodic it is far from sad. Bing Crosby sings Alexander’s Ragtime Band in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Easter Parade - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. My Mammy on Let Me Sing and I’m Happy is solid and easy to listen to. Rainy Night In Rio - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Sunbonnet Sue - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. A Pretty Girl Is Like A Melody rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. The song Linda ending is my favorite… so catchy! Swanee is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Music of My Old Kentucky Home is gentle, never overbearing. When I listen to A Hot Time In The Old Town Tonight in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Such hits like Nobody will leave you hooked. Comedy is such a marvelous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Oh! Susanna is simply astounding. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. In The Evening By The Moonlight - My least favorite song on this album. Opening track Beautiful Dreamer shows the best of Bing Crosby. Bing Crosby sings his heart out in On The Banks Of The Wabash. Comedy is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Alabamy Bound is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit.
