It has been nine years Billy Preston’ last studio CD, “The Best of Billy Preston” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. There is no doubt that Billy Preston has talent. Billy Preston’s debut, ‘The Best of Billy Preston’, does not fit easily into one genre. The Best of Billy Preston is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Will It Go Round In Circles is one of my favorite songs by Billy Preston. That’s The Way God Planned It is possibly the best song Billy Preston has come up. I like to sing along with Struttin’, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Your Are So Beautiful - I like this one. Nothing From Nothing is almost impossible to review. Although Get Back is very melodic it is far from sad. I’m Really Gonna Miss You - a classic song. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. I Wrote A Simple Song is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite.
