Now signed to Bill Evans and Push’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Live in Europe” leads Bill Evans and Push’s back-to-school campaign. This disc has all of the essential Bill Evans and Push classics. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Within the first few notes of Nightwing it’s perfectly clear that Bill Evans and Push is living this song. When listening to Pastiece, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Push - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Bill Evans and Push. You Gotta Believe is a strong cut, one of many. Some of the arrangements found on Live in Europe are surprisingly edgy. Stand Up And Do Something is perfect. The song feels complete. I think Sierra is the best song Bill Evans and Push has ever done.
