There is so much to love about Beck, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This album has some very good songs like Loser and Corvette Bummer. one years ago, Beck briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Corvette Bummer”. Beck is one of my favourite bands of all time.
It’s such an underrated song. Alcohol is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. The opening track Soul Suckin Jerk is very much like you would expect from other albums. Fume is one of my favorite songs by Beck.
