When you buy a Beck album, you know exactly what you’re getting! IF YOU LIKE ALL Beck’S SONG GO FOR IT! Beck’s debut, ‘A Western Harvest Field By Moonlight’, does not fit easily into one genre. I wish that “A Western Harvest Field By Moonlight” album was instrumental.
Music in Mayonaisse Salad is perfect as in all tracks of A Western Harvest Field By Moonlight. Blackfire Choked Our Death the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. No Beck song has come close to capturing my attention as Feel Like a Piece of Shit (Mind Control) did. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Pinefresh is the exquisite blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Voice of Beck in Lampshade is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Feel Like a Piece of Shit (Crossover Potential) - My least favorite song on this album. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Mango (Vader Rocks!), which shows, blatantly, how much Beck has evolved as a singer. Feel Like a Piece of Shit (Cheetoes Time) is another favourite of mine. Styrofoam Chicken (Quality Time) - This one is lively and fun.
