This album has some very good songs like Judgement Of Posterity and Schizianity. There is so much to love about Bathory, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Octagon isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I wish that “Octagon” album was instrumental.
Schizianity makes a person feel cool. Once War Supply gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. 33 Something (3:16) - awsome. As always, Bathory’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. This is one hell of a track. Sociopath is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Psychopath - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Immaculate Pinetreeroad #930.
