This album has some very good songs like Escher Drawings Part 1 and Escher Drawings Part 2. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Bas Broekhuis energies, virtually a rebirth. Bas Broekhuis was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Bas Broekhuis and The Escher Drawings together. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Only one song from The Escher Drawings named Escher Drawings Part 2 really got me. I listened to the opening track Escher Drawings Part 3 and liked it a lot. Strong, powerful vocals of Bas Broekhuis in Escher Drawings Part 4 are very impressive. I have all of Bas Broekhuis’s tracks and Escher Drawings Part 5 is probably the most his introspective effort. Escher Drawings Part 6 is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive.
