Self-described as Pop with lots of words, Babes In Toyland comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Babes In Toyland energies, virtually a rebirth. While no new Babes In Toyland album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in North America. Nemesisters is not something you should pass up.
Music of Oh Yeah is gentle, never overbearing. Drivin - This one is lively and fun. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Sweet So. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. 22 marked the continuation of Babes In Toyland in style evolution. Best song on the album, love it. Killer On The Road has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Babes In Toyland’s strong vocals come to the fore. The song Middle Man ending is my favorite… so catchy! It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. All By Myself is Babes In Toyland’s best work in years. Babes In Toyland breathes new life into the music in Deep Song. We Are Family is a very catchy tune.
