After debuting at No. 1 last week, Asian Dub Foundation’s album Fact and Fictions falls to No. 2 with 182,000, a sales slide of 51%. Fact and Fictions carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Since Asian Dub Foundation last CD (Fact and Fictions) on Savoy Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. This album is a scorcher!
PKNB is a good listen every once in a while. This song is dynamic and dramatic. The song feels complete. Journey is pretty funky and mellow. Strong Culture - another great track from the Fact and Fictions album. TH9 is the amazing blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Tu Meri is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Debris is a bit of a show-tune. Box is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Within the first few notes of Thacid 9 (Dub Version) it’s perfectly clear that Asian Dub Foundation is living this song. All of songs on Fact and Fictions and have something to say letting alone Return To Jericho (Dub Version).
