‘Pain’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is one of the best Cd’s Arcana Obscura has dropped to date. seven years ago, Arcana Obscura briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Hell On Earth”. To me Arcana Obscura is the best band ever.
Hell On Earth one of the best in my collection. Escape the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. In Pain the music gets its power. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Pain is Desert Of Pain (2Nd Version). Exitus as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature.
