There were many famous songs of Anton Szandor Lavey available. Self-described as Pop with lots of words, Anton Szandor Lavey comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is so much to love about Anton Szandor Lavey, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. IT makes me wanna dance!
Answer Me is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Blew our minds when we first heard The Whirling Dervish. Album opener Chloe is a bright, upbeat ditty. Thine Alone is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. The More I See You is simply exquisite. From the moment you listen to Band Organ Medley you’re hooked. Hello Central, Give Me No Man’s Land is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. After about the third Blue Prelude listen through, I began to believe this song is Anton Szandor Lavey’s essence. Softly, As In A Morning Sunrise - another great track from the Satan Takes A Holday album. In Honolulu Baby it becomes nowhere more obvious that Anton Szandor Lavey has yet to define own style. It’s such an underrated song. Here Lies Love - My least favorite song on this album. Simple and heartfelt closing track Dixie closes Satan Takes A Holday on a high note. If You Were The Only Girl is one of these floating songs. I like the idea behind Satan Takes A Holiday (Vocal). It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener.
