Logozo isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Since Angelique Kidjo last CD (Logozo) on Blue Note Records back in 1992, I have felt a massive void in my life. Logozo carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Last Hot Album by Angelique Kidjo
Logozo - Okay, I just talked about depth. Malaika is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. No Angelique Kidjo song has come close to capturing my attention as Ewa Ka Djo did. Tche-Tche is simply astounding. Opening track We-We shows the best of Angelique Kidjo. Kaleta can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Angelique Kidjo is all about. Angelique Kidjo has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Senie is probably one of Angelique Kidjo’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Angelique Kidjo rocks harder than ever with Ekoleya.
