Since Amina last CD (Wa Di Ye) on Blue Note Records back in 1992, I have felt a massive void in my life. On Wa Di Ye album, Amina have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Amina. This is one of Amina best albums
Atame is a striking and quite long song. La Mauvaise Graine is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Amina released so far. Yanari is beautiful, yet underrated track. Mammou Ayni (3:40) a good melody. After few listenings I started to like Salam more and more. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. You have to get essence of the Digge’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. In I Guluness Amina is at his best. Zahra is a good listen every once in a while. Ma Musique Est Cassee is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music.
