Now signed to American Indian Dancers and Singers’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “American Indian Ceremonial and War Dances” leads American Indian Dancers and Singers’s back-to-school campaign. Self-described as Ethnic with lots of words, American Indian Dancers and Singers comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. When you buy a American Indian Dancers and Singers album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Exciting stuff.
You have to get essence of the Tewa - The Prisoner Song’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Apache - A Girl and Many Boys from the beginning to the end. In Pima - Mountain by the Sea American Indian Dancers and Singers is at his best. Apache - The Mescalero Trail stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Montana Grass Song, Sioux (2:41) - awsome. Mountain Spirit Song, Apache (3:11) a good melody. Lightning Song, Apache as a highlight of American Indian Ceremonial and War Dances contains a ton of excellent melodies. Papago - Song of the Black Mountain - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Papago - Song of the Green Rainbow is my favorite song on American Indian Ceremonial and War Dances. Navahoe - Yei-Be-Chai Chant is a marvelous sing-along. Paiute - Our Father’s Thoughts sets the tone for the entire album. Music of Ponca - War Dance is gentle, never overbearing. Taos - War Dance is a great opener for American Indian Ceremonial and War Dances. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on American Indian Ceremonial and War Dances. I can’t stop playing Kiowa - War Dance, fast. Arikara - Warrior Song - This one is lively and fun. Sioux - Honoring Song is a strong cut, one of many. Navahoe - Glory Song makes a person feel marvelous. Sioux - Memorial Song is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction.
