When you buy a Ambient - Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Ambient - Various Artists had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Lead single “Atlantisz” and “Babel” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Babel gets you up and jumping. Circusz is a bit of a show-tune. Dracula is the excellent blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Energia is worth the money. Fata Morgana is a bit different from Ambient - Various Artists stereotypical stuff. Guernica - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I hope to keep hearing Ambient - Various Artists works for a long time to come. Impromptu is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. The sound of Jaguar is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Kanon - A nice song. Legio gives good insight into the truths. A fantastic track full of wonder. Nosztalgia has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Orpheus actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Ambient - Various Artists’s face. Pieta is astounding work of Ambient - Various Artists. Music and lyrics of Quartier Latin creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. In Sos the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Once you hear Titanic, you will listen to it over and over. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Zebra is one of the best records ever. Xy is probably the highlight of the album.
