It’s natural for Alternative - Various Artists to take a stab at ‘Oobu Joobu Intro’ considering her long-professed love for Army of Lovers. While no new Alternative - Various Artists album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Asia. This is one of the best Cd’s Alternative - Various Artists has dropped to date. Oobu joobu cd 14 is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
This track is clearly meant to showcase Alternative - Various Artists’s vocal abilities. The song There’s No Me Without You (The Manhattans; There’s No Me Without You (The Manhattans)) ending is my favorite… so catchy! Gonna Set This Town On Fire Tonight is another strong production from Alternative - Various Artists. Suzy Q is astounding. Mr Froggie Went A Courtin is astounding song though, very addictive. Once Sunny Goodge Street gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. I like Soundcheck Song because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Every Night is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Blew our minds when we first heard Oobu Joobu Jingle. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Music in Endless Days and Lonely Nights is astounding as in all tracks of Oobu joobu cd 14. Be A Vegetarian is perfect. The sound of Ivory Madonna (UB40; Ivory Madonna (UB40)) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Devoted To You - My least favorite song on this album. Don’t Let The Sun Catch You Crying - A catchy, upbeat tune. Oobu Joobu Outro the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. The Entertainer (Film Music; The Entertainer (Film Music)) is a strong cut, one of many. Let Me Roll It is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. With A Little Luck is absolutely incredible.
