Since Alpha Blondy last CD (Live Au Zenith (Paris)) on Columbia Records back in 1993, I have felt a massive void in my life. On the Croatia charts, superstar Alpha Blondy’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. When you buy a Alpha Blondy album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Cocody Rock
Cocody Rock (5:02) a good melody. The song Come Back Jesus ending is my favorite… so catchy! Dji - This is a very lively song. The sound in God Is One is really warm and Alpha Blondy’s signature voice is still very much present. I have all of Alpha Blondy’s tracks and Jah Houphouet Boigny Nous Parle is probably the most his introspective effort. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Masada (6:16) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. I hope to keep hearing Alpha Blondy works for a long time to come. Politiki one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Psaume 23 - arguably the best track on Live Au Zenith (Paris) album.
