There is so much to love about Alison Krauss and Union Station, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is the first studio album from Alison Krauss and Union Station since bad diagnosis in 1995. After seeing Baby, Now That I’ve Found You, I had to have a good Alison Krauss and Union Station cd. This album is awesome.
After few listenings I started to like When You Say Nothing At All more and more. I Don’t Believe You’ve Met My Baby is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Blew our minds when we first heard Oh, Atlanta. Broadway is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Every Time You Say Goodbye is a bit of a show-tune. Tonight I’ll Be Lonely Too is probably the highlight of the album. Teardrops Will Kiss The Morning Dew is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Alison Krauss and Union Station ever produced. Still going through Now That I’ve Found You: A Collection and coming to appreciate Sleep On more and more with every listen. In The Palm Of Your Hand is really the reason why I recommend buying Now That I’ve Found You: A Collection. When God Dips His Pen Of Love In My Heart the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe.
