There is no doubt that Ali Farka Toure with Ry Cooder has talent. This is one of the best Cd’s Ali Farka Toure with Ry Cooder has dropped to date. On Talking Timbuktu album, Ali Farka Toure with Ry Cooder have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album is awesome.
Soukora is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Gomni is a great opener for Talking Timbuktu. Sega - I like this one. Amandrai is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Once you hear Lasidan, you will listen to it over and over. Keito - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Banga is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. This song stands out greatly from the others. Strong, powerful vocals of Ali Farka Toure with Ry Cooder in Diaraby are very impressive.
