There is so much to love about Alanis Morissette, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Alanis Morissette on ‘All I Really Want’. This album is a scorcher!
You Oughta Know makes a person feel marvelous. I can’t stop humming along Perfect. Hand In My Pocket is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Right Through You is one of the best records ever. Forgiven sets the tone for the entire album. You Learn defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Alanis Morissette has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. A great put together song. Ironic marked the continuation of Alanis Morissette in style evolution. Not The Doctor as a highlight of Jagged Little Pill contains a ton of astounding melodies. Wake Up is a great opener for Jagged Little Pill. Voice of Alanis Morissette in You Oughta Know (Alternate Take) is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.
