After debuting at No. 1 last week, Alan Jackson’s album Who I Am falls to No. 2 with 411,000, a sales slide of 71%. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Alan Jackson’s new album to that on ‘Who I Am’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Who I Am carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Another great offering from Alan Jackson.
Livin’ On Love - A nice song. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Gone Country is the more seemingly obscure song on Who I Am that bear up best to repeated listening. Put Who I Am into car stereo for your highway driving You Can’t Give Up On Love is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Song For The Life is a bit of a show-tune. In Thank God For The Radio it becomes nowhere more obvious that Alan Jackson has yet to define own style. All American Country Boy is a striking and quite long song. Job Description is the funkiest number on the album. If I Had You is almost impossible to review. Let’s Get Back To Me and You is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. All of songs on Who I Am and have something to say letting alone Chattahoochee (extended Remix…).
