What sets If You Don’t Wanna See Santa Claus Cry apart is Alan Jackson’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. I Only Want You For Christmas is astounding. Merry Christmas to Me is the song that really did it for me. A Holly Jolly Christmas is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. There’s a New Kid In Town (with Keith Wh…) is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Santa’s Gonna Come In a Pickup Truck (wi…) has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Please Daddy (Don’t Get Drunk This Chris…) is pretty funky and mellow.
