There is so much to love about Ahmad Jamal Trio, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Check it every song is worth the money for the I Rememeber Duke, Hoagy and Strayhorn CD!
Listening to I Got it Bad you can hear that Ahmad Jamal Trio has still amazing chemistry with band members. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Overall a nice softer song. Prelude to a Kiss has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Don’t judge Chelsea Bridge on the first listening. When listening to I Remember Hoagy, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Skylark is one of the more up-tempo songs on I Rememeber Duke, Hoagy and Strayhorn. In Never Let Me Go it becomes nowhere more obvious that Ahmad Jamal Trio has yet to define own style. Goodbye is a bit different from Ahmad Jamal Trio stereotypical stuff.
