Since Aghast View last CD (Nitrovisceral) on Capitol Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. This album has some very good songs like Burst In Crossfire and Chemical Warfare. Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, Aghast View comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Aghast View ever.
Chemical Warfare is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Head Dress pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Hate is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Death Cage catches attention immediately, Retaliate - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Aghast View. Opening track Antemortem shows the best of Aghast View. All of songs on Nitrovisceral and have something to say letting alone Collision Course Part One. Aghast View offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Lyrics of Sanctimonous are precise and evocative. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Put Head Dress (Mental Depletion Mix) into car stereo for your highway driving This song may be the most meaningful.
