I am not a real Rock: Punk-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Complete Singles Collection’ really is amazing. IF YOU LIKE ALL Addicts’S SONG GO FOR IT! Now signed to Addicts’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Complete Singles Collection” leads Addicts’s back-to-school campaign. Exciting stuff.
Easy Way Out is the more seemingly obscure song on Complete Singles Collection that bear up best to repeated listening. Straight Jacket is perfect. Organised Confusion is the song that really did it for me. Viva La Revolution motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Steamroller makes a person feel exquisite. Numbers is the albums biggest surprise. Chinese Takeaway - This one is lively and fun. In You’ll Never Walk Alone it becomes nowhere more obvious that Addicts has yet to define own style. This song may be the most meaningful. Bad Boy is the albums biggest surprise. Although Joker In The Pack is very melodic it is far from sad. Shake Rattle Bang Your Head is probably the highlight of the album. This song is dynamic and dramatic. The Odd Couple - I like this one. Strong, powerful vocals of Addicts in A.D.X. Medley are very impressive. Falling In Love Again is astounding song though, very addictive. After few listenings I started to like Come Along more and more. What sets It’s A Laugh apart is Addicts’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Addicts.
