Since completing 1992’s ‘Thunderstruck’, AC/DC fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album has some very good songs like Thunderstruck and Shoot To Thrill. Live (Disc 1) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Live (Disc 1) touched my soul like nothing else.
Nice and different song. Back In Black is simple, dignified and effective, AC/DC refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Who Made Who - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Song Heatseeker is actually a funny song. AC/DC rocks harder than ever with Fire Your Guns. Jailbreak is a song to enjoy for years to come. The Jack - A catchy, upbeat tune. The Razor’s Edge is probably one of AC/DC’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is the song that really did it for me. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create.
