This album has some very good songs like The Winner Takes It All and Elaine. This is the first studio album from ABBA since bad diagnosis in 1995. On Thank You for the Music (Disc 3) album, ABBA have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
In Elaine ABBA spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Super Trouper. Song Lay All Your Love On Me is actually a funny song. On And On And On is pretty funky and mellow. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. The Way Old Friends Do catches attention immediately, This song stands out greatly from the others. Music and lyrics of One Of Us creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Should I Laugh Or Cry - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. No ABBA song has come close to capturing my attention as Head Over Heels did. I believe When All Is Said And Done is one of the most astounding, heartfelt songs ever written. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. The Day Before You Came (5:49) - awsome. Nice and different song. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists.
