ABBA was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from ABBA and Thank You for the Music (Disc 1) together. Thank You for the Music (Disc 1) carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Thank You for the Music (Disc 1) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I wish that “Thank You for the Music (Disc 1)” album was instrumental.
Ring Ring was the first single release from the album Thank You for the Music (Disc 1). All of songs on Thank You for the Music (Disc 1) and have something to say letting alone Waterloo. Love Isn’t Easy - A classic ABBA track. He Is Your Brother is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Another Town, Another Train is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. People Need Love is a gorgeous, simple song by ABBA at the top of his game. Such hits like Honey Honey will leave you hooked. Dance (While The Music Still Goes On) hits the heart. ABBA is one of artists that allow his songs like So Long to stand on their own and be heard. I’ve Been Waiting For You is a song to enjoy for years to come. I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Blew our minds when we first heard S.O.S.. So much energy, so exciting a sound. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Dancing Queen - For me, this is the best of the album. That’s Me is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Only one song from Thank You for the Music (Disc 1) named When I Kissed The Teacher really got me. Money, Money, Money is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Voice of ABBA in Crazy World is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. From the moment you listen to My Love, My Life you’re hooked.
