This is the first studio album from 2Pac since bad diagnosis in 1995. While no new 2Pac album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in North America. For older fans Makaveli The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory will put a massive smile accross your face. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Makaveli The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory.
In Hail Mary it becomes nowhere more obvious that 2Pac has yet to define own style. I believe Toss It Up is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written. No 2Pac song has come close to capturing my attention as 2 Live & Die In L.A. did. Blasphemy - a classic song. Album opener Life Of An Outlaw is a bright, upbeat ditty. Within the first few notes of Just Like Daddy it’s perfectly clear that 2Pac is living this song. Krazy is a perfect, simple song by 2Pac at the top of his game. White Manz World - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Me And My Girlfriend - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Hold Ya Head marked the continuation of 2Pac in style evolution. Against All Odds is one of the coolest songs 2Pac has ever recorded.
